Kevin was first introduced to the great outdoors at the Barnes Nature Center on hikes with his father in his hometown of Bristol, Connecticut. Over the years, Kevin has served as a trustee for the Environmental Learning Centers of Connecticut (ELCCT) and a guest instructor for summer camp programs at Indian Rock. This endeavor is near and dear to his heart because of the memories formed in those woods.

This fund, established in 2012, provides support for camperships, program development, and trail maintenance at the ELCCT. 

ELCCT is a non-profit organization that provides environmental education experiences to young people and adults, encourages the conservation and enjoyment of the natural environment throughout Connecticut, and serves as a land trust in the vicinity of Bristol, Connecticut.
