Customized Large Group Seminar

DUE TO THE GROWING DEMANDS AND REQUESTS FOR MY WRITING AND PHOTOGRAPHY, I AM DRASTICALLY SCALING BACK INSTRUCTION. HOWEVER, I AM STILL WILLING TO WORK WITH YOU TO DELIVER AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE IF MY SCHEDULE ALLOWS. -Kevin

I have been teaching large group seminars for years. If you have a large group and you’re interested in education at a more affordable rate, this is the way to go. For the flat rate of $600 per day plus travel expenses (.25 cents per mile round trip driving or the exact cost of flight, parking and luggage fees), I will travel to your location and provide 6 hours of instruction per day at a minimum. Of course, even during breaks and around the fire on multi-day seminars, I’m always available for additional Q&A as well as impromptu informal lessons. In reality, you’re getting more than 6 hours of instruction. Just ask anyone who has earned an EWE patch and they’ll agree.

The content of the seminar is customizable and previous group seminar themes have included bushcraft basics, canoeing and kayaking, modern survival skills, urban skills/disaster preparedness, martial arts and defensive tactics and general fieldcraft. Some curriculum is dependent on the environment and training “in your backyard” allows you to learn your environment better.

Past groups have included private schools, martial arts organizations and environmental groups. As with any large group, the more people who attend, the less one-on-one instruction can be provided. However, with more people the more potential for fun and the less each person has to pay. For example, a group of 12 dividing the day rate (prior to travel expenses) is only paying $50 per person! I’m not a math guy but that sounds like no excuse for a day of training!

As with any of the other courses, 50% deposit is due 2 weeks prior to the course and the balance is to be paid the starting day of the course. Also, for this type of seminar, food is not provided and students should come having had (breakfast) and they should pack a lunch. This course features 6 hours of instruction minimum and lunchtime will not be deducted from the total time. A packing list of basic gear will be provided depending on what content is taught.
